Wishy Washy Faith
"Wishy Washy Faith" (ie. oscillating, tossed to and fro, one foot in, one foot out). God continues His case against Israel (and Judah) - in this section their oscillating faith is highlighted. Ch 6 begins with what seems like genuine turning (repenting) to the Lord but that is not the case - their "love is like the morning dew" (v4). In these chapters, we will take a closer look at what causes "wishy washy" faith and what God does (and says) to the "wishy washy".
