God's Unceasing Grace
Jonah is rescued by a great fish even though he continues to rebel in his heart. The city of Nineveh is spared certain judgment even though their wickedness was far beyond anything the world has ever seen. God continues rescuing those who sin and repent, even though we repeat the same cycle over and over again, because he loves to save and does not desire anyone to perish. And because God knew that we would continue in this vicious cycle, he sent Jesus as the final sacrifice once and for all, so that He can fulfill what we could never - perfect righteousness.
