Big Battle, Bigger God
Israel faces an impossible battle against five kings, but God meets Joshua with a promise: “Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands.” Trusting that promise, Joshua acts faithfully and prays boldly, asking the God who rules creation to make the sun stand still. The miracle reveals that the real hero of the story is not Joshua’s courage, but the Lord who hears prayer and fights for His people. In the same way, when our battles feel too big, we can come confidently to God through Jesus, pray boldly, surrender humbly, and trust the bigger God who has already won our greatest victory at the cross.
