The Joy of the Father and His Celebration
In this passage, we will take a look at the joy that comes from the father when the lost are found. As we will also glean from the previous two parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin being found we will be honing on the idea from our main passage that even though we have done nothing to gain the love of God, His unconditional love for us is so abounding that His Joy resounds with celebration as he receives children. In which--when we know that God rejoices in the return of His children we should have this be a motivator for us to repent and turn to God especially looking to the new year!
