How Great the Chasm
In the history of Israel, there was this ever increasing chasm between God and His people because of their extensive and comprehensive sin. God through Hosea calls out their sin again and how their sin and this chasm has led to their "death" as a nation. Interwoven with Israel's sin (death) in these chapters are descriptions of God and His character - which is also why the chasm is so great (He is holy). How can such a great chasm be bridged?
