Wealth and Worship
Sunday's sermon will continue in the book of Amos - "Wealth and Worship" Amos 4:1-13. The LORD, through Amos, continues to prosecute Israel (covenant lawsuit) for their sins against God and one another. He reiterates and gives specific examples of their major areas of sin - in wealth and worship. And he reviews the discipline and punishments God has already sent to get their attention (warn them) so that they would return to Him. But they did not... As God's people now, the areas of wealth and worship reveal the genuineness of our faith. Are these areas He is calling us out on?
