Rend Your Hearts
After telling the people (Judah) to pay attention and mourn over the locust invasion, he points them to a greater coming judgment - the Day of the Lord (v1-11). This "oracle of judgment" is followed by an "oracle of salvation" starting in v12 - the people are called to return and repent and "rend their hearts" to the Lord that He may relent and save them and bless them!
