God's Awesome Grace

Jonah finds himself unable to appreciate the beauty of God's grace towards the wicked but repentant city of Nineveh. In the midst of Jonah's exceeding anger, God gives him an object lesson through a plant, a worm and a scorching wind to teach Jonah about the love of God towards man, and how he doesn't want any to perish. God not only shows his amazing grace towards the people of Nineveh, but also shows his amazingly patient grace to Jonah as he uses small but significant means to show His heart for mankind.
