Warnings of Milk and Honey
Deuteronomy 31:14-23, 32:44-47 (two passages). As we find our message in the last moments of Moses, many things happen to conclude the 40 year Exodus journey. Joshua Son of Nun is inaugurated as the leader of Israel, the generational covenant is fulfilled, the Promised land is within reach... But a Song from the Lord (Deuteronomy 32) eludes to the future rebellion of the nation. In this we will glean what warnings the Lord gives to the nation in this song and take notice how the milk and honey is the reason why God is abandoned. As God's people... what is our milk and honey and the warnings we must consider? And how are we to navigate our future when we are constantly surrounded by the things of this world (sin and flesh)? In pursuit of the Lord, remembrance of the Word, and Thanksgiving- may we be STRONG AND COURAGEOUS!
